Atomic Martini Night: Brighton Gin X Gin 1689 @ Bricks
Time & Location
About the Event
“I like to have a martini, two at the very most – after three I’m under the table. After four, I’m under my host”, said Dorothy Parker, writer, critic and one of the heirs to the famous Rothschild dynasty who – as the richest family in the world – were certainly no strangers to quality drinking, no matter what the time of night… or day.
Whilst we’re certainly not endorsing step three or four of Dorothy’s experience, there’s no doubt that the martini is one of the most popular, classic – and sophisticated – of all drinks on a bar’s list. And for that reason during The Hague Cocktail Week we’re going positively ATOMIC with two of the best gins on the Dutch market.
Join Bricks’ mix-wizards alongside the the brand ambassadors of Brighton Gin – Nick Mosley (UK) – and Gin 1689 – Alexander Janssens (NL) – for an out-of-this-world martini throw-down curated by your very own tastebuds and mixed by the pros.
Simply choose your gin then tell the guys your flavour and style preferences (or let them lead) for an ATOMIC martini that you can call your very own.
And get up and personal with the makers the makers themselves, Alexander and Nick, to discover their personal journeys and what makes their gins utterly unique in terms of flavour, heritage and provenance.
On the night, all Brighton Gin and Gin 1689 martinis are priced at €8, along with full Bricks’ The Hague Cocktail Week menu.
We can’t leave without one last word from a globally-respected arbiter of taste, Homer Simpson: “I know just how I like my martini – full of alcohol”. ‘Nuff said.
